This year, we received incredible entries from all around the world, and we are in awe of the stunning photographs submitted. We want to give a big THANK YOU shout-out to everyone who participated in the competition. It was a very tough decision, but we have narrowed our selection down to 75 amazing photos. This year, the competition focused on the impacts of weather, climate, and water—both positive and negative—on people and livelihoods. The finalists also illustrate the power of nature and the need to protect our beautiful planet from the impact of human activities - driving forces behind WMO's work. Now we need YOU to help us choose the winning photos by voting for your favourites by simply liking them on Facebook, Instagram and/or on Flickr.
